Who are you?

My name is Chris Rendon. I am an actor, writer, director, and stage combatant from Los Angeles. I am also a full time nerd, an avid reader of all things science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other fantastical fiction. I have been playing all types of board games, collectible card games, and video games as long as I can remember, but my heart belongs to tabletop roleplaying games.

I have been running TTRPGs since 2016. I have game mastered many adventures of all lengths, and introduced dozens of players to the hobby. My favorite games include Draw Steel, Dungeons and Dragons, Tales from the Loop, and Delta Green.

My goal is to give you the tools to run excellent games for your friends. You'll find campaign diaries here about the games I am currently running, including my thoughts as a game master for adventure prep, design, and what I would do differently if I were to run it again, so that you could learn from my mistakes! You'll also find blogs about miscellaneous thoughts about game design, reviews and critiques of games and books, and original third party RPG supplements and fiction.
